Nick  is the Massachusetts-based Chief Visionary Officer (CVO), Creative Director and Founder of Franchise Studios. Born and raised in Dartmouth his roots run deep and his passion deeper for the South Coast. Nick received his BFA from UMass-Dartmouth and MFA from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) prior to opening his studio in 2006.

Since completing his MFA in 2004, he has worked on several large and small budget films on the east coast as well as commercials and corporate videos. He has produced and executive produced several video shoots for corporate clients ranging from AT&T to CoStar and CyberTrust (Norton Anti Virus). Today, as the CVO of Franchise Studios he has managed accounts on a local, regional, national & international level. As his experience in both graphic design, web and film grows, it allows his studio to provide a more comprehensive ad agency service with a personalized, detail-oriented approach.

Prior to 2006, Nick worked for Big Picture Media & Events as a motion graphics designer and video editor. Big Picture creates events on both the business meeting and conference / trade-show level to help clients educate, entertain and inspire their audience. He currently works as an on-site Executive Producer for several of their large client trade-shows throughout the year.

In addition to the importance his studio plays in his life, he is also heavily involved in the local community chairing several large fund-raising events and sitting on the board of directors for both the SCBA & Reel Serious, a new non-profit on the South Coast that provides a nurturing and creative environment while promoting valuable learning experiences that will result in self-esteem building, independent thinking and tolerance for at-risk youth.

Nick is the former President of the SCBA and currently chairs the committee for the New Bedford Oktoberfest, an event he is very passionate about and the SCBA’s largest grossing event of the year.

As, both his business and the SCBA continues to grow he is constantly searching for ways to push the boundries and explore new opportunities.
